In our long delayed 76th episode we recommend WCW vs. NWO and NES Baseball, shoot the breeze regarding the iPad, get nervous about Sonic 4, lament the closing of Sony Liverpool, talk about Battlefield even more, and compare what we’ve been playing. We also desperately hope that Visceral games makes a McBeth game, and discuss accordingly.
Due to some unforeseen scheduling issues (Curtis’ computer problems and Cameron’s willingness to get a job), we won’t be producing a podcast this week. Expect us at our normal-ish time next week for 76.
In our 75th episode we recommend Popful Mail and Heavy Barrel, ponder Borderland’s success, talk Kindle/Apple Tablet gaming, debate if we’ll ever attempt the Bad Company 2 single player mode, play Jambo Safari, and discuss what we’ve been playing. We apologize in advance for talk of the Apple Tablet just before release, but we simply couldn’t help ourselves.
In our 74th episode we recommend DJ Boy and TMNT: The Manhattan Project, give our wish list for the DS part deux, talk ESRB ratings, complain about complainers, play the new Army of Two demo, and discuss what we’ve been playing. Dustin also gives his…theories regarding kidnappings in the 16-bit era.
In our 73rd episode we recommend Splinter Cell and Mr. Bones, discuss the Microsoft-heavy news coming out of CES, debate the pros and cons of the new Gamepro, play the Dark Void demo, and go over what we’ve been playing recently. In this episode Cameron weaves a rich tale of his childhood, and we promise you’ll never be the same.
In our ultra-late 71st episode we recommend Mr. Mosquito, hate on Final Fantasy VIII, debate the pros and cons of a premium PSN, give our Top 5 titles of the year, play the Gran Turismo demo, and discuss the games we’re currently checking out. Cameron and Dustin can quite squelch their trophy based rivalry, and some of their trash talk spills onto the airwaves. For this we are deeply sorry.
In our 70th episode we welcome back Cameron as we recommend Killer Instinct and Resident Evil 2, harp on the VGAs, discuss Dead Space 2, ask ourselves what we would want in a collector’s edition, play the demos for Dante’s Inferno and God of War 3, and give our impressions of Pixeljunk Shooter, Aquanauts Holiday, and Persona.
